Plant
Engineering.
Design the process, size the equipment and coordinate the plant. From front-end engineering design (FEED) to detailed design, we cover piping, structures, electrical systems and controls.

Multi-Discipline Plant Design
Choose a single discipline or a coordinated plant design package. We agree the inputs, deliverables and review stages with your team.
Working with Spetia
From the process
to the plant.
A new line, an expansion or a plant upgrade. Bring us the process and the stage you have reached.
Talk About Your ProjectDesign the process first
We develop the process, size equipment and plan the layout. The work can begin at FEED or focus on the detailed design your project needs next.
Make the disciplines work together
Piping, structures, electrical systems and controls need room to operate and be maintained. We coordinate the drawings and track changes as the design develops.
We agree site information and work by others before starting. Safety studies, approvals and commissioning are included only when specified.
Technical details to agree before we start
Starting information
- What the process does, its capacity and where our scope starts and stops
- Process diagrams, equipment data, plot plans and site information
- Project standards, hazardous areas and connections to other systems
Deliverables
- Process design, equipment sizing and calculations agreed in the scope
- Plant layouts, models, piping isometrics and discipline drawings
- A record of design assumptions, questions and drawing revisions
Review checks
- Process documents, equipment data and layouts against each other
- Access for operation and maintenance, plus clashes between disciplines
- Review comments, changes and the issue status of each document
Agree the design stage, survey limits and work by others before starting. Specialist safety studies, vendor approvals, statutory design and commissioning are separate unless included in the scope.
